Day: 4
As I continue on my Journey to “Find Nirvana”, I am practicing the same few things daily to build great habits. These habits will follow me into daily life in or out of the activity, and these habits will help me build a more mindful and present life.
Gratitude, Affirmations, and Writing.
These three practices have really opened my mind to the possibility of growth.
Today I am grateful for my conversation with another special individual, Jordan Webb. She is an amazing trumpet player and an even more amazing leader, teacher, a friend. She is wise beyond her years and seems to be able to help me with every problem I’ve currently come across.
Today we spoke as I was nursing my injured knee. We talked about how I am feeling, what I’m noticing about my section, and I was lucky enough to also talk about our careers and goals.
I am very lucky to have such amazing staff to help me on this journey, and knowing that they are here with me and supporting me along the way is an incredible feeling.
Moving on, affirmations have helped me believe in myself and my abilities even more so than before. I will keep tonight’s to myself, but I am keeping up with them.
Lastly, Writing, this is that. Writing has helped me put all of my thoughts into words – give or take any coherent thoughts actually prevailing – this process has been an absolute win and I must continue it moving forward.
Another great day with great people.
